Investing? Like... Do I need to be Rich First?

You've probably heard people say things like:

"You should start investing..."

But you're sitting there like:

"With what money, bestie?!?"

Honestly, I feel you.

Lemme let you in on a not so secret secret:

You don't need to be rich to start investing.

You don' need a finance degree. You don't need to wait till "you've figured it out " or "be at a stable place." You just need to start with whatever you have got.

What is investing?

It's where you put your money into something so it can grow over time. That's basically it.

"Oh, I need to have a large sum so I can start investing"

No you literally don't. You can start investing with a sum of as little as Tshs 5,000. 

Why should you care?  

Because letting your money rot in a bank account hoping it to grow while the bank charges you for minor things you don't notice means the money is not doing anything for you. Investing is your go to and how people build wealth slowly and steadily, even if you don't have that much money.

Am I too old to start now? Is it too late?

It's never too late for anyone. Even when you feel like you're falling behind, don't worry, investing is all about patience that definitely pays out.

Bottom line:

You don't need to be rich or young. You just need to be curious and willing to start small.
